Engineered with all the key characteristics their other axes, the Grivel G1+ Ice Axe offers top performance in a pared down package. 

The one piece hot forged head is designed to provide an optimum strength to weight ratio so it won't let you down, or weight you down, when it matters. The head itself incorporates a sturdy adze for digging belays and stances, with a classic neutral pick on the reverse for harder climbing and self-arrests.    

The G1 features a CEN-B rated shaft with clip-able spike and natural rubber hand grip, and comes with a sprung leash and locking clip.
