The second edition of Grivel's innovative Twin Gate Clepsydra carabiner provides a safe yet easy to use belay carabiner. Grivel has designed a totally new carabiner where a simple second wire gate isolates the belay loop and keeps the proper orientation even with the carabiner door open.

One main problem when belaying has always been keeping the carabiner in the correct position. With the additional second wire gate to isolate the belay loop, this keeps the carabiner correctly orientated to avoid dangerous cross loading. The twin gate design prevents the carabiner accidently opening.
