The Air Tech line of crampons from Grivel are designed for ascents of both rock and ice. With the new EVO upgrade, Grivel aren’t reinventing the wheel, but they’ve fine-tuned the back clip to be a one-piece solution that is lighter, stronger, and easier to adjust.
Grivel has also improved the webbing to be harder wearing, thinner (at 12mm), and with a more ergonomic buckle. The webbing strap, at last, fastens in toward the boot, with the loose end neatly wrapping around the front of the ankle to be tucked into a purpose-built slot within the back bail.
