The Edelweiss Oxygen II 8.2mm Unicore is a rugged half rope designed for mountaineering and trad climbing. It features Edelweiss’s SuperEverDry Treatment for extremely high water resistance, as well as HD Cover that provides excellent handling and better abrasion resistance.

The Oxygen II now uses Unicore construction that essentially bonds sheath and core into one. This means even if the sheath becomes damaged, or even cut, the rope maintains its integrity and provides much higher margins of safety than standard rope construction.
