This is possibly the most versatile and safe all round belay device ever devised. The Climbing Technology Alpine Up can be used in 3 modes giving total versatility, whether you're sport climbing, multi pitch trad climbing or alpine climbing using direct belays.  Its self-locking mechanism doesn't rely on any moving parts and is safe even if threaded incorrectly.  You can even use it for simultaneous and independent belay of two second climbers.

ALPINE UP is supplied and must be used with the proper CONCEPT SGL HC carabiner with hardcoated wear-proof anodization and ACL system that prevents the possibility of the cross loading.

The CT Alpine Up has been developed especially for mountaineering and it can be used with half or twin ropes Ø 7.7 ÷ 9 mm, or with a single rope Ø 8.9 ÷ 10.5 mm. ALPINE UP is easy to use, intuitive and safe, even in case of error and is also entirely designed and manufactured in Italy.
