Climbing Technology Alp Loop 60cm – Blue Promotions

The Climbing Technology Alp Loop is a sewn loop made of dynamic rope with a diameter of 8.3 mm, for use on multi-pitch routes and mountaineering in general.

The Alp Loop is able to limit the shock transmitted to the user in a potential fall and for this reason it is useful for equalising anchors on trad routes, as lanyard for self-belaying at the belay station, as lanyard for abseiling and as accessory cord to use with natural anchors.

Fully meeting the requirements of UIAA 109 BELAY LANYARD. UIAA 109 standard requires the rope loop to withstand three successive factor-2 falls; it also requires the peak force of the first fall to be less than 10 kN.
