The Beal Rando is a very light 30 meter rope to have with you when walking or skiing in the mountains where snowfields and steep ground may be encountered and the team may want to ‘rope up’. At 37g per meter this rope has a diameter of 8mm and while perfectly safe for crossing glacier under no account should this rope be used for climbing or mountaineering.
